Here’s where you can purchase prints of Lori’s fine birds and other paintings. All prints are printed on watercolor paper and are protected by a plastic sleeve. You can have the option of matting your print, which is a higher cost. Lori also has meaning for her work which she believes can bring healing, love, and a message for the one receiving it. If you would like your own message for your painting, please click the box when you check out. Mark if you are a Christian or not. Lori does profess Christianity but welcomes all beliefs. Her Ollie books are not overtly Christian but the message in them could go both ways.
All prints are on quality paper and protected by a plastic sleeve. Prints are size 8X10 with a white border.

LORI DOBBINS ART & BOOKS
Early in Lori’s painting career she accidentally painted a heart in one of her paintings. She then decided to hide hearts in all of her paintings. She wanted people to feel love as they hunt for the hearts. Then when Ollie came along she thought how fun it would be for kids to hunt for hearts on the pages of the books, and was she ever correct! Kids love hunting for them and it keeps their attention as the book is read to them. She always tells the kids that the hearts are to show how loved they are.
Lori is also a watercolor and mixed media artist. Although you will see Ollie and characters mostly on this site, she also sells prints of her original work, especially all those lovely birds.

Hello everyone!
Here in Payson, AZ there will be a holiday event at Noley’s on Saturday, November 8th from 9-4. We will have venders outside along with book signings inside. As always there will be Noley’s wonderful coffee bar and organic produce. I will be there with both books. Come get your signed copies.

Ernie is here!!!! Ollie Meets Ernie the Emu is available on Amazon now. It will be available through my website on 10/25/25 if you would like a signed copy. In this adorable book Ollie learns about friendship when a blue and green emu moves to town. The bullies make fun of the emus and talk Ollie into making fun of them too. This is after Ollie already met Ernie the day before and became friends. Ollie feels awful to say the least. Get your copy today and see what happens to Ollie and Ernie’s friendship.
Noley’s in Payson Arizona will be having its annual holiday sale on November 8, 2025. Ollie and I will be there for a book signing. Come on out and support local authors and artists. Noley’s has something for everyone, even coffee and produce!

Follow the link to all things fun for your little ones. Here you will find pictures of Ollie and characters that children have painted for Lori. She has pages filled with your children’s pictures. She also lovingly puts them up in her artist studio.

Lori gave her an Ollie sticker and told her about her book. Her response was, “Now I don’t have to be afraid because Ollie is with me!”
Adien. Lori made friends with some kids down her street. At that time, she only had one Ollie print and one print of BBD. (You’ll have to read her books to learn who BBD is!) Lori told the story to him using just those two cards. He had been attacked by a dog when he was 4. As she told him the story, he suddenly became amazed. He said that he saw the dog in his mind and all the fear went away as he looked at BBD!!!! Adien’s drawing of Ollie is in Lori’s first book.
