It has long been believed that if you see a cardinal it is from your loved one who has passed on. Some even believe that the bird is their loved one. Regardless of the folklore, Lori learned new techniques painting this. She had never painted any kind of branches or trees up to that time. She absolutely loved how the painting came out. It made her feel peaceful and loved.
